Faith Enrichment

From 1962-1965, the Catholic Bishops of the world gathered in Rome with the then Holy Father, Pope John XXIII to deliberate on where the Holy Spirit was leading the Church in the new era.  This assembly of Church leaders, in an atmosphere of prayer and reflection, came up with the deliberations written in a book known as the Document of Vatican II Council.  One of the documents in this book entitled “Dei Verbum” meaning “The Word of God” encouraged in an outstanding manner that all Christians should read the bible on their own as well as in groups so as to grow in faith and knowledge of God’s Word.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the way adults come to learn about and experience the Christian life, specifically our Roman Catholic tradition, and become initiated into the life of our Church through the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

If you are interested in being initiated into the Roman Catholic Church, or would like more information about the process, please contact the parish office.
